Heat Shrink Tubing

TE Connectivity's (TE) Heat Shrink Tubing provides electrical insulation, mechanical protection, environmental sealing, and strain relief. The tubing is available in single-wall and dual-wall configurations and serves as an effective alternative to taping, molding, or potting. The products conform to the size and shape of the substrate beneath, enabling quick and easy installation. These tubings feature a high expansion ratio, making it possible to repair damaged cable jackets without removing connectors. TE Heat Shrink Tubing is chemical-resistant, UV-resistant, waterproof, and flame-retardant. The series offers strain relief for connectors and splices, providing more flexibility and sealing to keep out moisture, water, bacteria, and fuels. Applications include shielded splice protection, mechanical protection for hoses, noise reduction for pipes, and mechanical protection for lighting components.

Harsh Environment Products

TE Connectivity's (TE) Harsh Environment Products are built to withstand dirt, moisture, salt, and vibration encountered in harsh environments. The harsh environment products include connectors, relays, transducers, receptacles, sensors, and many more. TE Harsh Environment Products improve efficiency, safety, and offer high-reliability.

DWFR Tubing

TE Connectivity's (TE) DWFR Tubing is dual-wall, flame retardant heat shrink tubing with UL VW-1 flammability rating. DWFR Tubing is made from a polyolefin jacket with a thermoplastic adhesive inner wall. This moisture-resistant series insulates and environmentally seals and protects components and other electrical connections and terminations. The medium wall thickness of this TE Connectivity tubing provides increased mechanical protection. The 3:1 and 4:1 shrink ratios allow DWFR to cover a variety of substrates with a limited number of tubing sizes. The series is ideal for sealing and protecting connector-to-cable transitions and for repairing damaged cable jackets.
