OPS241-A Short-Range Doppler Radar Sensor Module

OmniPreSense OPS241-A Short-Range Doppler Radar Sensor Module is a complete radar sensor system on a single 53mm x 59mm board. The OPS241-A SRR Module can be connected to any Smart USB host, such as a Raspberry Pi, an Android device supporting USB On-The-Go (OTG), PC, or Mac to enable an IoT (Internet of Things) sensor. The OPS241-A is capable of reporting motion, speed, and direction of objects detected. All radar signal processing is done on board, and a simple API (Application Programming Interface) reports the processed data. Flexible control over the reporting format, sample rate, and module power levels are provided.

OPS241 & OPS242 Electromagnetic Lens Enclosures

OmniPreSense OPS241 and OPS242 Electromagnetic Lens Enclosures are 3D printed enclosures that provide protection for the OPS241 and OPS242 Radar Modules. These enclosures come in two versions, a standard enclosure and a version with an Electromagnetic (EM) lens. The EM Lens enclosure creates a tighter beam and increases the antenna gain for a farther detection range, reducing the standard 76° to 78° beam width to a tighter 26°. The additional antenna gain of 3dBi to 5dBi helps detect objects at further distances. OmniPreSense OPS241 and OPS242 Electromagnetic Lens Enclosures can be easily mounted on drones, robots, and other structures.
