Texas Instruments TPS7A43/-Q1 LDO Linear Voltage Regulators
Texas Instruments TPS7A43/-Q1 Low-Dropout (LDO) Linear Voltage Regulators offer a 4V to 85V input voltage range and very low quiescent current. This device can support a wide range of input voltages (for example, a 15s battery and 24V to 48V line power) and withstand line transient voltages up to 85V. These features help modern applications extend battery life and meet increasingly stringent energy requirements in portable power solutions.
The Texas Instruments TPS7A43/-Q1 output (OUT) is available in fixed and adjustable versions, regulating from 1.24V to 14.5V with 1% accuracy. The device also provides a second intermediate output (MID_OUT) that can be set to 10V, 12V, and 15V using the MVSEL pins. It can also bias gate drivers in place of a discrete regulator. The TPS7A43/-Q1 features a precision enable input that helps disable or enable the LDO at a fixed and accurate threshold voltage using a resistor divider from the input.
The power-good (PG) output is used to monitor the voltage at the feedback pin to indicate the status of the output voltage. The EN input and PG output can be used for sequencing multiple power sources in the system.
