KYOCERA AVX Flexible Flat Cables (FFC) / Flexible Printed Circuits (FPC) Connectors are available in a broad range of products that include space-saving, easy-to-use flip-top style connectors with a pitch range from 0.2mm to 1.25mm, slide ZIF, and cost-effective LIF connectors. In addition to signal integrity, these connectors can provide increased retention force for high-vibration environments, low-profile heights for small packages, ISO/TS 16949-certified connectors for automotive applications, increased workability in assembly ground planes for high-speed data transfer, and a high current threshold for battery applications. KYOCERA AVX FFC/FPC Connectors are available in multiple pitch sizes and remain competitive in the market, to offer the most solutions.

FPC/FFC Connectors

KYOCERA AVX FPC/FFC Connectors are designed for LCD applications in small portable equipment. The rear locking flip-top actuator is easy to connect and disconnect. The 6277 series offers a 0.5mm pitch and dual-sided contact with a one-touch lock connector. The 6298 series provides a 0.5mm pitch and a bottom contact. KYOCERA AVX FPC/FFC Connectors feature an ultra-low profile connector specially designed for LCD modules with back-light requirements.

6277 Series 0.5mm Pitch FFC/FPC Connectors

KYOCERA AVX 6277 Series 0.5mm Pitch FFC/FPC Connectors are ZIF, right angle FPC connectors with dual-sided contacts and a 0.9mm height. The connectors have back-lock actuators with rear locking which offers easy connection and disconnection of FPCs. Due to these back-lock actuators, the series has an enhanced function of preventing the FPC from being released. KYOCERA AVX 6277 Series 0.5mm Pitch FFC/FPC Connectors are typically used for LCDs for small portable equipment and have a -40°C to +85°C operating temperature range.
