NXP Semiconductors EVBMA7318 Evaluation Boards
NXP Semiconductors EVBMA7318 Evaluation Boards provide a solution for a distributed architecture for lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery management in automotive and industrial applications. Each board integrates a single BMA7318 battery cell controller (BCC). The EVBMA7318-SPI communicates with a host board or host PC via the serial peripheral interface (SPI) and with other cell monitoring unit (CMU) boards via the transform physical layer (TPL) using transformer isolation. The NXP Semiconductors EVBMA7318-TPL communicates with a host controller or PC via the transformer physical layer (TPL), or with other cell monitoring unit (CMU) boards via TPL with transformer isolation. Each board can measure lithium batteries with four to 18 cells and is powered by a 9VDC to 90VDC power source.
