Particle TACHxNA Tachyon Single Board Computers (SBCs) combine smartphone-class computing performance with industrial-grade connectivity in a Raspberry Pi®-compatible form factor. Built around the Qualcomm QCM6490 processor, the Tachyon series features an eight-core Kryo™ 670 CPU, Adreno™ 643L graphics, and a Qualcomm Hexagon™ AI engine delivering up to 12 TOPS of AI processing. Integrated 5G cellular, Wi-Fi® 6E, Bluetooth® 5.2, and multi-constellation GNSS connectivity enable intelligent edge devices that can operate virtually anywhere while maintaining secure, high-speed communications.
Designed for advanced edge computing and embedded AI applications, the Tachyon SBCs support dual-camera interfaces, PCIe expansion, USB 3.1 connectivity, battery-powered operation, and a 40-pin expansion header compatible with the Raspberry Pi ecosystem. Available with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS storage, the boards provide the processing power needed for machine vision, robotics, industrial automation, fleet management, smart infrastructure, and remote monitoring systems. Secure boot, encrypted file systems, and Particle's application infrastructure further simplify the deployment of connected intelligent devices in demanding environments.
