Samtec VITA™ 90 VNX+™ Solutions
Samtec VITA™ 90 VNX+™ Solutions support small-form-factor modular open-system architectures with a family of interconnect products that combine RF backplane, optical, and power connectivity. The VNX+ platform incorporates optimized pin assignments, system management capabilities, and coaxial and optical I/O connectivity to address demanding high-reliability embedded system requirements.
The VITA 90.0 connector family uses SEARAY™ right-angle array technology and rugged optical support to enable high-speed backplane interconnects. Available connector configurations support multiple pin-count options and 13mm or 19mm stack heights. The architecture provides rugged blind-mate operation and supports RF backplane performance up to 110GHz.
Samtec VITA 90.2 VNX+ Connector Modules extend the ecosystem with high-density RF and optical I/O capabilities. Full- and half-aperture modules accommodate configurable combinations of MT optical ferrules and size 16 or size 20 RF contacts. GPCC contacts support both 50Ω and 75Ω implementations, while floating blind-mate construction helps protect contacts and maintain reliable alignment during mating.
