Advanced Energy / Impac IS 50-LO/GL Pyrometers deliver non-contact infrared temperature measurement for molten glass and refractory surfaces in demanding glass production processes. These digital pyrometers target glass tanks, working-end forehearths, and feeder zones, and support brickwork temperature measurement in regenerators and tanks. IS 50-LO/GL series pyrometers combine digital signal processing with a simple two-wire connection for streamlined installation and operation. A fiber-optic configuration separates the optical head from the converter, and the robust fiber-optic cable is available up to 30m to support use in hot installation areas without cooling. Adjustable emissivity, response time, and subrange settings help adapt the pyrometers to different process conditions. Advanced Energy / Impac IS 50-LO/GL Pyrometers cover a +600°C to +1800°C temperature range for glass-industry measurement tasks and provide a linear 4mA to 20mA output for system integration.
