TRACO Power TEQ-40WIR Ruggedized 40W DC/DCC Converters are EN 50155 approved for railway and transit applications as well as industrial requirements where a robust DC/DC power source is required. These 40W isolated DC/DC converters deliver up to 91% efficiency while providing protection against short circuits, overvoltage, and overtemperature. This series is chassis mountable and provides increased EMC immunity against surge, burst, radiated, and conducted disturbances. These TRACO Power units are encased in a rugged metal chassis with a heatsink construction for a high level of thermal performance and a full output power operating temperature range of up to +83°C with natural convection cooling (+92°C with power derating). These converters have an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage ranges with output ratings of 5V_DC at 8000mA, 12V_DC at 3330mA, ±12V_DC at 1670mA, 15V_DC at 2670mA, ±15V_DC at 1330mA, 24V_DC at 1670mA, and ±24V_DC at 830mA.
