CW Industries Microminiature Slide Switches
CW Industries Microminiature Slide Switches have electrical contacts completely enclosed by insulating plastic for protection from hostile environments. The Microminiature Slide Switches from CW Industries are available with a snap-in or plug-in mounting option, neither of which requires mounting hardware. These switches are ideal for applications where there is very little space, yet switching reliability and protection from hostile environments are required. The detent method makes a light actuating force and crisp detent action possible.
This switch type allows easy termination through plugging into a PC board, hand soldering to properly shaped terminal tails, or by using a standard solderless connector. Typical applications are electric shavers and similar motor-driven appliances as well as computer and telecommunications equipment containing crowded PC boards.
