Laird Technologies Fabric-Over-Foam Metallized Shielding Gaskets

Laird Technologies Fabric-Over-Foam (FOF) Metallized Shielding Gaskets provide soft shielding with a durable design to suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI). These FOF gaskets feature shielding effectiveness of >100dB across a wide spectrum of frequencies, and extremely low compression forces allow for the use of lighter materials. The low surface resistivity of 0.07Ω/square, dependent on the fabric, helps to provide improved conductivity. Laird Technologies EMI gaskets are available in a variety of shapes and thicknesses to meet applications that require low compression force but still need high-conductivity and shielding attenuation.

The FOF metallized shielding gaskets are available in nickel/copper (Ni/Cu) and tin/copper (Sn/Cu) to ensure galvanic compatibility with a wide variety of host materials. Both versions display no significant performance degradation after environmental exposure per the Accelerated Aging Test (ASTM B845-93 method H). These EMI gaskets are UL94 V0 and Halogen-free gaskets to meet stringent environmental/safety requirements.
