Mikroe 500PG TPS Pressure Click
Mikroe 500PG TPS Pressure Click is a compact add-on board for gauge and differential pressure sensing in medical, industrial, and environmental monitoring systems. The board is based on the TE Connectivity TPS-500PG-CA1N-00-T low-pressure MEMS sensor, which combines a silicon micromachined pressure transducer with CMOS mixed-signal processing for conditioned and temperature-compensated outputs.
The sensor supports both analog output and digital communication via I2C and I3C, providing designers with flexibility for mixed-signal or digital-only system integration. The Mikroe 500PG TPS Pressure Click operates over a pressure range of 0Pa to +500Pa with a total error band of ±1% full scale, while the dual vertical-port SOIC-16 package enables true reference measurements.
Additional features such as SDO status monitoring, an enable-controlled power path, ClickID automatic board detection, and Click Snap flexible placement expand implementation options for host systems built around the mikroBUS standard. The board is well-suited for CPAP and sleep apnea devices, ventilators, gas and air flow instrumentation, and HVAC or VAV applications where low-pressure monitoring is essential.
