SanRex Soft Recovery Diode Modules

Optimized for low conduction loss, the SanRex modules integrate one or two high‑current diode chips in a compact package, with typical forward voltage drops of 1.1V to 1.5V at rated current. The modules' controlled, soft reverse recovery behavior (generally in the 80ns to 250ns range) reduces stress on companion switching devices, such as IGBTs and MOSFETs, thereby improving overall system efficiency and reliability. High non‑repetitive surge current capability further enables stable operation under inrush and transient overload conditions common in industrial power systems.

All SanRex soft recovery diode modules feature an electrically isolated base with a typical isolation withstand voltage of 2500VAC, allowing direct mounting to grounded heat sinks without additional insulation. The modules are rated for maximum junction temperatures up to 150 °C and feature low junction‑to‑case thermal resistance to support high power dissipation. Housed in thin, rugged industrial packages with standard M4 screw terminals, these devices are widely used in switching power supplies, inverter welding equipment, motor drives, UPS systems, and DC power sources for communication and industrial applications.
