Sanyo Denki San Ace 225AD ACDC Centrifugal Fans
Sanyo Denki San Ace 225AD ACDC Centrifugal Fans are designed for applications that demand the airflow and efficiency of DC brushless motors but have only AC power sources at their disposal. This is accomplished through the utilization of an internal AC/DC converter, allowing the use of an efficient, reliable DC brushless motor in an AC circuit. Sanyo Denki San Ace 225AD fans come in a non-water-resistant version as well as an IP56-rated version, which is highly resistant to dust and water. Each of these versions is offered in both 115VAC and 230VAC rated voltages. All variants feature 225mm x 99mm dimensions, a corrosion-resistant motor casing coating, and built-in PWM to control the speed using PWM signals up to 1kHz.
Advantages & Use Cases
The structure of centrifugal fans lack the stall region in the P-Q performance curve that come with axial fans, making them suitable for high airflow and high static pressure applications. The fans are ideal for large air-displacement applications, such as ventilating large equipment cabinets and heat exchange cooling. Many of these applications are outdoors or in other environments where AC power is the only available power source while still demanding a high degree of water resistance.
