WeEn Semiconductors MURx Ultrafast Power Diodes

WeEn Semiconductors MURx Ultrafast Power Diodes feature low-leakage current and low thermal resistance. These power diodes are designed with platinum-doped technology (SABER) for low-leakage current at high temperatures with no risk of thermal runaway. The MURx ultrafast diodes exhibit soft reverse recovery characteristics that lead to low EMI and low forward voltage drop that leads to low conduction losses. These WeEn power diodes are available in SMA, SMB, and SMC packages. Typical applications include discontinuous current mode (DCM) power factor correction (PFC), inverters, free-wheeling diodes, and high-frequency switched-mode power supplies.
