Lumileds LUXEON IR 2720 high-power infrared (IR) emitter modules are designed for surveillance and closed circuit systems, machine vision, and biometric identification devices. These emitters provide high radiant power of up to 1300 mW at a 940 nm wavelength or 1250 mW at 850 nm wavelength. These devices feature high efficacy and a 120° beam angle. The emitters' 2.75 mm x 2.00 mm package has a two-pad configuration that makes it compatible for direct upgrades to existing designs. The emitters are undomed and especially useful for applications with package height limitations that prevent the use of domed solutions.
