TE Connectivity / DEUTSCH MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Circular Connectors

TE Connectivity's (TE) DEUTCH MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Standard Circular Connectors are designed for use in harsh military and aerospace environments. These connectors offer high-density layouts with up to 187 data connections and power contacts rated up to 23A. The series features triple-start couplings with anti-decoupling ratchets for high-vibration applications, grounded plugs for superior EMI shielding, and 100% scoop-proof contacts for blind-mate coupling. All connectors are qualified to stringent MIL-DTL-38999 Series III specifications. Wall-mount receptacles, jam nut receptacles, and straight self-locking RFI plugs are available in nine shell sizes and 54 insert arrangements. The M39029 contacts include sizes 23, 22D, 20, 16,12, 10 power and 8 twinax.

TE DEUTCH MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Standard Circular Connectors feature aluminum shells in electroless nickel, black zinc nickel, nickel PTFE, and olive drab cadmium. Other finishes, such as anodic and zinc nickel, are available. Composite shells include electroless nickel and olive drab cadmium. These connectors employ contacts and insert patterns common to Series I. This creates an easy transition from bayonet to triple-lead, acme-thread, self-locking coupling.
